Derek is the Chief Executive Officer of Scrimmage, a modern mobile learning, engagement and collaboration technology firm with global locations. He oversees its Sales, Client Services and Technology divisions to ensure a proper alignment between evolving customer needs and innovation.

Prior to Scrimmage, his experience at leading research, intelligence, technology and training firms focused on Business Development, where he delivered successful solutions and drove customer retention. Having his career intersect with the mobile revolution of the past decade, Derek is able to think pragmatically and strategically to leverage measurable learning opportunities with SaaS technology.

He is active in the industry, including several advisory roles with trade organizations and start-ups, along with facilitating respective business relationships. Derek is a graduate of James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, as well as Philosophy.
